Vanna Flyer 1-4-22

Hi! My name is Vanna and I am a lovely 3-year-old, 57 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained. I struggle with separation anxiety and am destructive when left home alone uncrated. I have been working on crate-training in a heavy duty crate and have been improving through playing crate games to create positive associations. I have not done well in a standard wire crate. I will need a family who is home the majority of the time and can commit some time to continuing my crate-training.

I adore people! ALL people! Men, women, and children are all amazing! I will eagerly seek affection and particularly love belly rubs! My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog she’s ever met. My foster mom owns a towing company where I join her for work everyday and enjoy receiving attention from the customers while being a shop dog!

You know what else is absolutely amazing? Other dogs! Ooh I love making friends with others! I have met dogs of all ages, sexes, and sizes and have been wonderful with all of them—though I will want to play so another playful canine sibling would be fantastic! I have also learned to do well with dog-savvy cats through patience, time, and training which may need repeated when I transition to a new home. I can easily clear a 5.5’ fence and would do best in a home either without a fence where I’d be secured when outside or with a 6+’ solid fence. I also like my toys and tossing them around!

I am still very puppy-like and need to have chews and bones around for me to occupy myself with while you’re busy. I am a high energy girl who needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation.  I am intelligent and love to learn—I could be a great agility prospect! I arrived to Echo Dogs heavily pregnant, but now my puppies are weaned and have gone to their homes. Now it is my turn to find the perfect adoptive family… could that be yours?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
