Hi, I’m Tyson! I am a 4-year-old, 80 lb neutered male. I am already housebroken and crate-trained although I am a gentleman who does not need to be crated when left home alone.
I am great with people—men and women. I love children, but I am still learning not to be too excited when greeting them and may knock over small children. I like to always be within eyesight of my people and can be found not too far away. I will happily greet people we meet in public or visitors to our home!
I am social with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a sibling, although I would also do well on my own. I have met kittens and cats and, despite being hissed and swatted at, I remained unfazed by their presence so I could likely live peacefully with cats. I like my toys!
I am a smart boy who has learned sit, shake, down, and stay. I walk beautifully on the leash next to you and enjoy going for car rides. I love going to our local park and sniffing around if you’re willing to walk with me! I also am nonreactive to loud noises. I am eager to please my people, so continued training should go smoothly. Do you want to be my new human(s)?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
