Hello! My name is Tessa and I am an 18-month-old, 60 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated if I am going to be home alone for more than a short period.
I am a social, outgoing girl who has done well with both men and women. I haven’t been around small children to know how I feel about them, though I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like yet! I actively seek affection from my people and enjoy snuggles! I will happily welcome visitors to our home.
I have done well with other dogs and enjoy wrestling with my foster brother. I like having toys and chews around and have also learned to play fetch! I have a strong prey drive so I cannot go to a home with cats.
I ride well in the car and walk well on a leash. My foster mom walks me with a gentle leader and I do well with it. I would love a family willing to continue including me on adventures! I would love to find a family to call my very own—are you my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
