Hello! My name is Sophie. I am a 4-year-old, 70 lb spayed female. I am a gentle love bug. I love to cuddle, lay close to you and snuggle. I listen well and I’m very loyal. I’m not afraid of loud noises and I can sleep through thunderstorms.
I will alert and bark when someone comes to visit but it doesn't take me long to determine they are not a threat, then I’m sweet as can be and ready for treats or some play. I haven't been around many other dogs. When I see them, I will pull on the leash and bark a little. Once I have a chance to sniff them, I want to play. I’m very good with young and older children. I get along well with cats.
I love soft plush toys, but I also love tearing the stuffing out! I like chew toys, balls and some hard toys to chew on. I know how to play fetch. I’m ok in the car. I know lots of basic commands, and I can even spin and shake paws! I would love to find a home where I’m not left alone all day. Maybe a couple or a family with a child and a yard to run around and play in. I want someone to spoil me with lots of love. Could that be you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
