Hello! My name is Sky and I am a 7-month-old, 45 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and am working on my crate-training. I will go into my crate willingly, but after a few minutes I have been known to bark and scratch at the crate door if I cannot see my people. As I am still a young puppy who believes getting into things I shouldn’t is entertaining, I will need to be crated when left home alone.

I am a friendly girl who does well with men, women, and children. I prefer to introduce myself to you since new people walking directly at me can be a little intimidating initially, you know? I will initially jump on children to greet them, but I love kids! I grew up with some kids in my home and would love to have kids in my new home. I will happily seek affection from my people!

I do well with other dogs as long as they understand I am a high energy girl! I like to play rough with other dogs so another active, playful dog my size would be ideal. I would likely be too much for a senior dog who likes peace. You know what is awesome? TOYS! I love to play with my toys and can easily be redirected to my toys if I get distracted with chewing something I shouldn’t. I will destroy the occasional stuffy. I like to play fetch! I cannot go to a home with cats.

I know sit and ride well in the car. I am still learning my manners, so I can be mouthy at times when I get excited. I’d love to find a family who will continue my training and dedicate time to exercising with me—could that be with you?

Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
