Hi! My name is Scarlett and I am a 3-year-old, 50 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I may find things that look chewable but are not what humans consider chewable when left home alone, so I do best crated when alone.
I am a social girl who will approach new people with curiosity and introduce myself. I have done well with men, women, and young children. I love to be in the same room as my people and will soak up affection from you!
I have done well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a sibling or living by myself. While I coexist peacefully with other female dogs, I seem to prefer male dogs and love to play with my foster brother! I like playing with toys (especially chewy things, like cow hooves!!). I have a strong prey drive so I cannot go to a home with cats.
I ride well in the car and only pull slightly on lead, making me a great adventure partner! I will come running to be leashed up if I hear you pick it up! I would love to find a family willing to continue my training as I am smart and eager to please, while also having a nice off switch and ability to relax at home. I am an easy-going, quiet, friendly girl who would love to find a family of my own—is that with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
