Hi! My name is Rosie and I am a 2-year-old, 55 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, although I am trustworthy to be left home alone uncrated.
I am friendly with both men and women! Any children in my home would need to be older so they know to respect my social cues. I am extremely affectionate and will seek out belly rubs or long bouts of petting. I am happy to welcome visitors to our home! I am still learning that jumping up is not the preferred greeting method for most people.
I am unsure around other dogs and prefer not to share my home base with them. If there is another dog in my home they need to be confident, calm, and prefer little interaction. I have been neutral towards calm, friendly dogs when off my home property. I love my toys, especially my plush toys! I will even happily play fetch and would love to have a securely fenced yard where we could play safely. I have a prey drive and cannot go to a home with cats.
I am an intelligent girl who is progressing on my training! I have learned crate, come, gentle, and potty. I am still working on sit, stay, drop it, and off. My leash skills are a work in progress as I am fearful around moving objects (like cars, bicycles, scooters, or runners) and will react by barking and pulling to the end of the leash. Similarly, I am not a fan of car rides. I am a happy, calm, and playful girl at home and adore my people. I am ready to find a patient adopter who can commit to continuing my training and socialization—are you my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
