Hello! I’m Robert: a 1-year-old, 39 lb neutered male. I am already housebroken and crate-trained. I am still a young boy who will need to be crated when left home alone and kept on a good potty schedule.
I am super social and do well with everyone: men, women, and children! I can be overly exuberant when greeting children, so I would do best in a home with older children. I am a handsome boy so everyone I have met loved me right away, and I soak up all the attention I can receive!
I adore other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine sibling or two. My dog friends will need to be patient while I learn proper social cues. I have a strong prey drive so I cannot live with cats. I like toys and love playing in the yard (especially chasing the bugs!). My favorite toys have squeakers!
I am a high energy, playful boy who would love an adventurous family! I enjoy going for car rides and walk fairly well on the leash—including ignoring when we see other dogs! My foster parents have been working on basic commands with me and would love to see me with a family who will continue my training. I would be a great hiking companion! Could you be the one to take me for all my adventures?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
