Hi! I’m Raina: a 3-year-old, 30 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I am a trustworthy girl who doesn’t need to be crated when left unsupervised. I mostly use my crate for my stuffy collection!

I love my foster mom and get excited to see her when she comes home from being out! I have done well with men, women, and older children. I am cautious with new people and will keep my distance until they offer me affection—I love being pet!

I am great with other dogs and would do best with a confident canine companion to help show me the ropes. I enjoy playing with my playful foster sister and am also able to respect my other foster sister’s social cues that she doesn’t like to play. I love my stuffy toys and keep a collection which I will move around to snuggle wherever I am resting. I will put them to bed in my crate at night before going to bed myself. I am also fostered with cats and have done well with them.

I ride well in the car. I am scared of the leash so learning to walk on lead is a work in progress. I would do best with a physically fenced yard at least for now as I learn to adjust to a leash. I am a very sweet, gentle dog who is ready to find my family. Could you be the family I am searching for?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
