Rabbit Flyer 8-14-22

Hello! My name is Rabbit and I am a 4-month-old, currently 28 lb female. My adopter will be contractually obligated to get me spayed when I am 6-months-old. My mom was a white German Shepherd, but my dad is unknown. I am already houstrained and crate-trained. I will put myself to bed in my crate when I get tired. Since I am still a puppy, I need to be crated overnight and when I am home alone.

I am friendly, affectionate, and playful when meeting both men and women! If there are children in my home, they should be older so they understand not to rile me up. I will seek affection and enjoy being with my people, although I am not needy and will respect when you are busy. I am welcoming to visitors coming to my home.

I struggle with being easily overstimulated when playing with other dogs which can lead to me redirecting my arousal. Due to this, I would do best as an only dog or in a home with one adult dog who is very stable, well-socialized with puppies, gives appropriate corrections, and would be willing to engage in wrestling-style play. I like my toys, especially  my bones or chew toys. I am happy to play by myself or entertain myself with my chews. I will also play fetch! I cannot go to a home with small dogs or cats.

I am an intelligent girl who catches onto training quickly and would thrive with continued obedience work. I love going for car rides and have been working on my leash skills so I can join you for adventures. I am non-reactive to people and other animals when walking on leash. I am a high energy girl who needs plenty of exercise—I currently go biking with my foster mom every day and love it! I am a happy girl who is still learning how to be the best version of myself; could you be the perfect adoptive family to help me continue my journey?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
