Hello! My name is Pickle and I am an 11-month-old, 41 lb spayed female. I am already housebroken and crate-trained. I am still young, so I will need to be crated when left home alone to protect me from getting into things.

I am a social, outgoing girl who will greet everyone I meet with a wagging tail and a belly open for belly rubs! I am still very puppy-like in my mannerisms, so I cannot live in a home with kids. I love affection and will happily snuggle up with my people and like to stay close by when I’m with you. I’d happily welcome visitors into our home.

I am good with other dogs and could do well with a sibling. I play pretty rough though, so any canine friends will need to be willing to wrestle! I have a strong prey drive so I cannot live in a home with cats. I love my toys and food so much, that I do not share well with other dogs. I must be fed separately from other dogs to keep everyone safe.

I like going for car rides and am a great passenger. I am improving my leash skills through training with my foster mom and I have already learned some basic commands: sit, down, shake, load, crate. I am also working on a reliable recall. I am an enthusiastic, high energy dog so I need a home that will be committed to making sure I receive enough exercise. I love joining my foster mom for rides on the boat! Could you be my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
