Hello! My name is Petunia and I am a 1-year-old, 48 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I should be crated when left unsupervised as I am still puppy-like and may get into things I shouldn’t although I have been doing well.
I was hesitant about people when I first arrived at my foster home, but I have since learned people aren’t that scary! I have met and done well with men, women, and young children after introduction. I will actively seek affection from my foster family and enjoy spending time with them at home. I will welcome any visitors to our home.
I am great with other dogs and thrive having a confident canine foster brother, so another confident sibling in my adoptive family would be great! I like toys and I have learned how to play fetch!! I would do best in a home with a fenced yard so I can explore the outdoors freely. I cannot go to a home with cats.
I have learned to walk well on leash while wearing a harness and thoroughly enjoy my walks around the neighborhood. I have also learned my basic commands and am very smart! I am high energy and would love a family who will continue my walks/training! I am also well-behaved during car rides! I am ready to find the perfect adoptive family—could that be you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
