Hi there! My name is Pepper and I am 1-year-old, 45 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still young so I should be crated when I am left home alone.
I am a social girl who does well with men, women, and young children. I actively seek affection and enjoy spending time with my people. My foster mom says I am the definition of a Velcro Dog as I always want to be close to her! I quietly and happily welcome visitors into our home.
I play well with other dogs and would do well with a canine sibling or by myself. I haven’t figured out toys yet. I am happy to spend time outside and would love having a fenced yard or going for regular walks—I even walk well on leash and love riding in the car! I cannot go to a home with cats.
I have been working on my basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and recall. I am a lower energy, sweet, and easy girl who would love to find a loving family to call my very own. Could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
