Hi there! My name is Mosey and I am a 9 year old, 88 lb spayed female. I was a heavy 102 lbs before and my foster mom has helped get me down to a healthier 88 lbs and I feel a lot better! I wouldn’t mind losing a few more pounds though I am much better where I am now. I am a mature girl so I am already housebroken and do not need to be crated when left home alone; although, I am crate-trained.
I am a social girl and friendly with everyone I meet. I do well with men and women and will seek affection from my people. I am friendly with older kids, although toddlers and very young children may be too much for me. I won’t get up on your furniture as I am content relaxing near you on my bed or the floor. I can be initially hesitant with visitors into my home, though I will happily settle down and be friendly after a proper introduction.
I am quite happy keeping all the attention from my people to myself and am not friendly with other dogs or cats—so I need to be the only dog in my home and cannot go to a home with cats. I enjoy exploring around my yard and playing with my toys.
I am a low energy girl with some arthritis. I take CBD oil for my joints which helps me greatly! I would prefer a home with few stairs though. I enjoy my walks and foster mom walks me twice a day—once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I walk well on the leash. I also like going for car rides and will happily try to jump in, though I’ll need a little boost to my hind end.
If you’re looking for a relaxed, mature girl to join your family, I may be the one! Could you be my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
