Hello! My name is Miranda. I am a 4 year old, 57 lb, spayed female. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I will need to be crated while home alone.
I am good with men and women, though would prefer a home without small children. I am shy when I meet people. I am learning about affection and give lots of kisses to my foster family. I like to follow my foster mom around the house. A quiet home with few visitors would be ideal.
I enjoy the company of other dogs and will need a social, confident doggy sibling in my home to help show me the ropes. I need a physical fence around my yard so I can explore unhindered. I have spent my life outside with little interaction and am still learning about all the wonders of living with humans... such as toys! I am starting to pick up and play with the stuffy toys.
I am learning how to walk on a leash. I ride well in the car. I am still learning the world is not as scary as it seems, so I need someone who will be patient with me. I am not noise reactive. I have a lot of energy, so maybe with some time I would be a great companion for adventures!
I am a diamond in the rough who is looking for a patient, experienced family to love me. Could that possibly be you?

For more information, please contact Adoptions.
Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
