Mimi Flyer 9-20-22

Hello! My name is Mimi and I am a 9-month-old, 40 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still a puppy so I will need crated when home alone to keep me safe from getting into things I shouldn’t be exploring. I would prefer a home where someone is home with me more often than not.

I am a social girl who loves men, women, and children. I can get very excited in the morning where I jump or gently mouth my humans so I would need watched around small children while in that mindset though I settle down. I will actively seek affection and enjoy being near my people. I will curl up in bed or on the couch with you to watch tv! I can often be found laying near my foster mom’s feet while she works throughout the day. I am welcoming to visitors coming into our home!

I love other dogs! I prefer having the company of another dog and would thrive with a playful canine companion. I also currently attend doggie daycare and the counselors say I always make friends! I like my toys and will happily chase a thrown toy, although I haven’t mastered the idea of bringing it back to you yet. I am also fostered with cats and do well! I will give chase if they start running, but I am uninterested in catching them—I just think it’s a game of chase!

I ride well in the car as long as I haven’t eaten just before our trip and I walk well on leash, making me the perfect adventure partner! I would love having a family willing to continue my obedience training to help keep my mind occupied! While I am still a puppy with lots of energy, I will self-entertain with a chew toy when you’re busy and can be pretty calm during quiet times at home as long as I’ve been getting adequate exercise. So I think I’m pretty perfect! Are you looking for a pup like me as your new family member?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
