Hello! My name is Max. I am housetrained and crate trained. I like all the people I meet. My foster mom jokes that I am so friendly she does not think I ever met a stranger because I greet everyone like an old friend. Since I am so young I am still a bit rough. I would do better with older children and dogs my size or larger. With proper introductions I can live with a cat I just have to remember that I am 73lbs not 7lbs.
I love balls and Kongs. If it were up to me, I would take my ball everywhere. I even know how to play fetch. I like going for rides in the car. I walk well on a leash. I do get excited when I see a dog or a cat out there, but I calm down when they get closer and we meet. I know lots of commands, and I am always ready to learn more.
I would like to find a home with older children and another canine companion about my size or bigger. I would also do well as a single dog getting all the love attention for myself. Did I mention I love to cuddle? Well, I do and I would love to cuddle with you!

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
