Hi there! My name is Louise and I am a 10-month-old, 35 lb spayed female. I am already housebroken and crate-trained. I can be trusted when left home alone.

I am a very affectionate girl with my people and do well with men, women, and young children. I am fearful with new people and will need time to warm up to my new humans. I am a Velcro dog and always want to be with you! I am skittish around visitors coming into our home so I would prefer a quieter home. Children are a bit less threatening to me and I will approach them!

I get along with the two other dogs in my foster home, although I am still learning I don’t have to push myself in the middle when one of my humans is giving another dog attention. I would love a home where I could have a confident canine sibling to help show me the ropes! I cannot go to a home with cats. I like my toys and will easily self-entertain.

I like to go for car rides! My leash skills are a work in progress and I will need someone willing to help me learn my basic commands. A family who can work on my socialization and training would be great!

I am a beautiful, joyful little girl who would love to find my perfect forever family—could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
