Hi! My name is Koa and I am a young (~DOB: 7-30-25), currently 10 lb male. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me neutered in February 2026 at six months of age. I am doing super well with housetraining and am already crate-trained. I am still a baby so I will need to be crated when I am left home alone for my safety.
I have never met a stranger and am great with men, women, and children! I still have my puppy teeth so you need to watch for those while we play, and I love receiving affection from anyone I meet—including visitors to our home!
I love other dogs and wouldn’t mind having siblings. I have not been around cats, but I am still very young so I could potentially be placed with a dog-savvy cat and an owner willing to work on proper integration. I will play with almost anything I can fit in my mouth, which is my current criteria for determining what is a toy (shoes are high up there if I’m left unsupervised!).
I ride well in the car and I have been learning what a leash is, though it is still very new to me so it is a work in progress. I am a confident, social puppy who would thrive with a family willing to spend time on my training and socialization as I grow up—could you be the family I am searching for?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
