Hi! My name is Klove and I am a 3-year-old, 66 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I don’t seem to need crated when left home alone as I am nondestructive.
I love people and have done well with men, women, and older children. I haven’t met any small children—I’m told I may be too rambunctious in my excitement for them. I absolutely adore receiving attention from my people in the form of butt scratches, other petting, or engagement of any kind. I eagerly welcome visitors to our home because I know they’ve come to see me!
I cannot go to a home with other dogs. While I love other dogs, I am especially bad at reading their signals and can be extremely inappropriate with my play which leads to overstimulation and escalation with the other dogs. To set me up for success, my foster mom and I decided I should be the only dog in my new home. I have, however, done well with dog-savvy cats! I love, love, love ball toys and my morning fetch sessions! I would love to show you my jolly-ball so we can play together. I would do best with a fenced yard where I can safely explore and patrol for critters.
I ride well in the car and have been working hard on my commands. I have learned sit, down, leave it, drop it, and to recall when you whistle! I walk well on leash with a properly utilized prong collar. I need a family committed to providing continued mental and physical stimulation as I am a busy girl! I am super excited to meet my new family, is that you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
