Hi! My name is Keya and I am an 18 month old, 50 lb spayed female. I am already housebroken and crate-trained; and, as I am still a young girl, I will need to be crated when left home alone.

I am extremely shy with people and will need a very patient family who will give me time to become comfortable with them. I warm up quicker to women and would do best in a female-only home. I like to spend time out with my foster mom. I will often leave the room when my foster dad comes in. Due to my fear, I cannot go to a home with children. I would prefer a home with few visitors.

I love other dogs and there must be a confident, playful canine companion in my home. I enjoy playing with my foster siblings and would love a fenced yard so I can safely run with other dogs. I do not like to share my food with other dogs. I cannot go to a home with cats.

My favorite bonding activity with my foster mom is a good game of fetch with my balls! I love playing fetch and I love, love, love squeaky toys! I am an active girl and once I am comfortable would love a family where I will get plenty of exercise.

I am looking for a family who will continue my socialization and will help me learn the world is not a scary place. I was very pregnant when Echo Dogs rescued me and I was a great mother to my ten puppies — they have all found loving homes and now it is my turn. Could you be my perfect, committed forever family?

Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered.
