Hi there! My name is Jasmine and I am a 3-year-old, 60 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, although I am a lady who does not need to be crated. I will let out little alert barks at people approaching our house while you are gone (and when you are home, but letting you know I am just as effective when you’re not!).

I have done well with both men and women, and older children. I would prefer a home without small children as sudden movement and loud noises can frighten me, and I’ve been told that sums up small children. I will actively seek affection and jump in your lap wherever you’re sitting, I love my people! I will also welcome visitors once I sniff them.

I have done well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind a sibling. I love toys, especially stuffies with squeakers that I can murder. I will play fetch… sometimes. I don’t always bring the toy back because then it’s no fun, right? I have not done well with cats and cannot go to a home with cats.

I pull hard on the leash and will require someone who is willing to work with me on those skills; although I do know sit, down, paw, and stay. I have also improved significantly on my recall. I also wait patiently for the release to eat my food or go through doorways. I love to get in the car but can be anxious during the ride. I love to run and I am fast! So I need a home where my family will be dedicated to providing adequate exercise—could that be you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
