Hello! I’m Indy: a 9-year-old, 71 lb neutered male who is ready to find my perfect family! I am a gentleman who is already housebroken and crate-trained, although I do not need to be crated when left home alone.
I am friendly with people, including young children! I will seek affection and my foster mom calls me the sweetest boy. I am friendly with visitors although I’d prefer a quieter home, I am not a partier anymore!
I have been friendly with both dogs and cats and could live with siblings or on my own. I like my toys and will carry them around. I am a mellow, go-with-the-flow kind of guy so I don’t need a large yard. I prefer to stay close to my family.
I walk well on the leash and don’t mind going for car rides! I enjoy going for walks and getting to sniff around.
I have cataracts which have significantly impaired my vision, so I am scared to do stairs and would prefer a home where my surroundings don’t change often. I have also been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and am eating a prescription food to help keep my gastrointestinal tract healthy.
I am an easy-going, special needs boy who is ready to start looking for a special family to call my own. Could that be you?

For more information, please contact Adoptions.
Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
