Hi! My name is Ido and I am a 2-year-old, 55 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am inquisitive about things that don’t belong to me when I am home alone, so I should be crated when unsupervised.
I love everyone I meet and have done well with men, women, and children. I seek affection and belly rubs are one of my favorite things! I am happy to welcome visitors to our home, especially ones who give me belly rubs!
I have done well meeting other dogs and would enjoy having a playful canine sibling, although it isn’t required. I love running around with my foster sibling in the yard! Toys that I can tear apart are the best, though I am happy to play with most toys. I haven’t quite figured out this “fetch” game though. I cannot go to a home with cats.
I like joining for car rides and walk fairly well on leash, which means I’m a great adventure partner! I have learned sit, and am eager to continue expanding my English vocabulary! My foster mom says I am intelligent and learn quickly. I am excited to find my perfect adoptive family—are you my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
