Hi! I’m Honey: a 4-year-old, 70 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I do not need to be crated when I am left home alone. I promise not to throw a party!
I have done well with women and children, I am cautious with men so I take some time to warm up—I’ll get there with men who are patient! I absolutely love affection and am always up for a good ear, head, or belly rub! I follow my foster mom around and am never far from her.
I do well with other dogs of all types and wouldn’t mind having canine sibling(s) or being by myself. I am also friendly with cats! I like to play with chewy toys or stuffed animals, I am gentle with my stuffies and don’t destroy them.
I ride well in the car, walk well on leash, and have learned a couple of basic training commands while in foster. I would love a family where I will be included and receiving continued training/socialization. I am a gentle, sweet, happy girl who is ready to find my perfect adoptive family. Are you my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
