Hi! My name is Helene! I am a 5-month-old (DOB: 10-25-2025), currently 29 lb female. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me spayed at 6 months of age, which will be April 2026. I am doing well with housetraining and am almost at 100% as long as I am taken out on a consistent schedule! I am already crate-trained. Since I am still a little puppy, it’s safest for me to stay in my crate when unsupervised. I might bark a little at first but then I settle down.

I love all the people I’ve met so far, including men, women, and children! I’ve met a few dogs, big, small, males and females. I liked them all and wanted to play with everyone!  I love all my toys. I don’t know how to play fetch yet it sounds like fun. I have met a cat and I was a really good girl so it's ok if you have a cat or two.

The car is ok, I don’t mind going in it, I might even like it one day. I am doing well learning how to walk on a leash. I learned “down” that was easy. I'm ready to learn more. I hear those puppy classes are pretty good, maybe you could bring me to one. I wouldn’t mind going to a home with some children, I really like playing and running around with them. Do you have any children that would love a sweet little girl like me?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
