Gunner Flyer 8-20-22

Hello! My name is Gunner and I am an 8-year-old, approximately 70 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I prefer to be in my crate when I am home alone or I can struggle with some separation anxiety that displays with licking myself until I get a hot spot. I would love a home where someone can be home with me most of the time.

I am a friendly boy who does well with men, women, and children. I will seek affection and can be a Velcro Dog as I never want to leave my person’s side! I love belly rubs and pets. I will welcome visitors into our home.

I am friendly with other dogs of all sexes and sizes, including currently living with a Chihuahua. I frequently play with dogs outside of my family’s dogs and enjoy those visits. I am a playful boy who would enjoy having a playful canine sibling, although it’s not a requirement. I  also live with 5 cats and am very good with them! I enjoy having room to run and would thrive with a fenced yard.

I do well in the car and enjoy tagging along for errands. I have never learned how to properly walk on a leash and will try to prance in circles around you, so my leash skills are a work in progress. I currently eat Pedigree dry dog food and do well on it; I have a sensitive stomach and can get diarrhea if I switch foods or eat human food. I am eager to please and ready to find my perfect adoptive family—could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
