• Echo Dogs Adoption area is the eastern half of the U.S. We do not operate on the west coast.

• I am 21 years or older​

• Everyone in my home is in agreement to adopt a dog

• I understand shepherds have a double coat, shed significantly, and can grow large (55 to 100+ lbs)

• My vet can verify all current animals are up-to-date on routine vetting, including annual heartworm testing & monthly prevention

• I agree to a home visit as part of the application process

• If I rent my home, I will need to submit a signed Landlord Agreement granting permission to adopt from Echo Dogs and my application will NOT be processed until the signed landlord form is received. 

• I understand that Echo Dogs often receives multiple applications for the same dog. There is no guarantee I will be able to adopt the dog listed on my application and an adoption coordinator will work with me to find a suitable match for my home and lifestyle.

• I understand Echo Dogs requires a $20 non-refundable application processing fee and that my application will NOT be processed until the application fee is received.
