Hello! My name is Ghostbuster, or “Guster” for short.  I am a 2 year old, 48 lb neutered male. I am already housebroken and crate-trained. I am still a young boy so I will need to be crated when left home alone.

I am social with people and will actively seek affection from both men and women. I haven’t been around small children in my foster home, so we are not sure how I would do with them. I will welcome visitors into our home and enjoy spending time with my people.

I am friendly with other medium and large dogs. I have a strong prey drive and can be barky or pushy with small dogs. I cannot go to a home with cats. I will also chase down small critters outside! I like to play with my toys and enjoy hoarding them all for myself; luckily my foster brother doesn’t mind. I love chasing around my jolly ball. I will chew on cloth toys, tug toys, and blankets/beds if I get bored.

I am a high energy boy and would love to find an active family who will take me out for lots of adventures. I like to ride in the car and my foster mom is working with me to improve my leash skills. I only pull slightly now. I have learned my basic commands with my foster mom. I am food-motivated and love to learn—I would make a great agility partner!

I am a happy, relaxed boy looking for the perfect forever family to call mine. Could yours be my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
