Thank you all for volunteering to be an Echo Dogs Foster Parent.

​Beginning in April 2024, Echo Dogs now has a new insurance company. One of their requirements is that all Echo Dogs' foster parents complete the self-paced online Shelter and Rescue Training through Maddie's Fund University. After completing the online training, the foster parent will receive a certificate of completion, which Echo Dogs is required to keep on file.

 

The training includes the following topics:

Bringing a New Dog Home (Certificate issued)

Canine Body Language in the Shelter (Certificate issued)

Offensive vs. Defensive Aggression

Animals (Zoonotic) – Parasites (informational article)

 

Before you can view the course, you will need to register with Maddie’s Fund here:

Note the training is self-paced. You do not have to complete it all in one sitting. You can start and come back to it as time permits. If you have issues finding your progress when logging in later, just navigate to Maddie’s University and then click on Access My Dashboard on the left side of the page.
