Hi! I’m Dozer and I am a 9 year old, 90 lb neutered male. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I need to be crated when left home alone. I use my plastic crate as a safe space when I get nervous.
I am affectionate with my person and will seek attention, but I am terrified of other people. I need an experienced, patient person who will give me time to warm up to them. I cannot go to a home with children and need a home with few visitors. I will hide in my crate when visitors come to our house.
I am friendly with other large, calm dogs. I do not like high energy dogs or puppies. I haven’t figured out how to play with toys. I will need a 6-foot, secure fence around my yard in my new home. I cannot go to a home with cats.
I am not a big fan of car rides and my leash skills are still a work in progress. I am scared of loud noises. I love treats and food!
Due to my fear of people, my adopters must be willing to pick me up within 100 miles of Albert Lea, MN. I am a happy boy at home once I’ve settled in and all I need is a forever home where I can spend my golden years. Could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
