Dodger Flyer 1-4-22

Hello! My name is Dodger and I am already housetrained. I am a gentleman who does not need to be crated when left alone—and I’m pretty adamant about making my preference of not being crated known!

I am a social boy and love people! I will eagerly seek affection from men, women, and children (although kids in my home should be 5+ years of age). Oh and I hope you’ll allow cuddles because my favorite place to sleep is in bed curled up with my humans! I will welcome visitors and am happy to make new friends!

I am animal aggressive and need to be the only animal in my home. I cannot interact with other animals at any time. I will need a secure, physical fence around my yard at my home. You know what is awesome though? Balls with squeakers! I haven’t learned how to play fetch but I love having my squeaky toys.

I ride well in the car and walk fairly well on the leash – only pulling slightly. I’d love a family who will help fine tune my leash skills and work on my obedience behaviors! I am lower energy and would be a great partner for neighborhood jaunts. I also enjoy going for a swim when the weather is permitting—which is not now with these Michigan winters! If you’re somewhere warmer with a pool, maybe you could be my new family? I’d love to find my perfect adoptive family! Let me know if that could be you!

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
