Hello! My name is Darius and I am a 7-month-old, 45 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still young so I should be crated when I am left home alone.
I have done well with men, women, and young children after some time to warm up. I can be quite shy and avoidant with new people until I know them. Once I’m comfortable with you, I love to snuggle on the couch and am a super affectionate boy!
I love other dogs and would have a confident, playful canine companion in my ideal home. My foster siblings have really helped show me the ropes about this whole living with humans thing! I also absolutely love toys! Emptying the toy basket is one of my favorite pastimes. I am not picky about toys, though I will say destuffing the big plush toys is a great definition of fun! I have even learned how to play fetch! I cannot go to a home with cats.
I like going for car rides and am working hard on my leash skills so that I can join my family for more adventures! I have also learned how to sit and come when called while with my foster family. My momma is a White Shepherd and she’s already found a family! I would love to find a patient family of my own to help my confidence continue growing—could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
