Hi! My name is Coco and I am a 4-year-old, 60 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when home alone, though I have not been destructive and could potentially be left uncrated once I am settled in. I do best in my crate if there are other dogs in the room with me.
I have done well with men, women, and older children. I am an extremely affectionate girl who loves to be close to my people, and will try to get as close as possible during snuggles! When you’re done snuggling, I will move off to lay near your feet. I do well with visitors to our home once I have been introduced to them.
I have done well with other dogs who are respectful and enjoy peaceful coexistence. I love balls (or, really all toys! But especially balls) and am probably the best fetcher you’ll ever meet! I would love to have a yard with the space to play daily games of fetch! I do have a strong prey drive, so I cannot go to a home with cats.
I have been working hard on my skills as an adventure partner: I love going for car rides and now that I am getting to go on them more regularly, my initial carsickness has become significantly less frequent! I only pull slightly on lead and have learned a variety of training cues (sit, come, down, shake, drop it, leave it, and crate!). I do have a sensitive stomach and require a prescription diet with pumpkin supplementation to maintain a good weight and gastrointestinal health. I am an intelligent girl who is ready to find my perfect adoptive family—are you my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
