Hello! My name is Claire. I am about 2-3 years old. I am house trained and crate trained. I am trustworthy in the house, so you will not have to crate me when you leave. I am good with men and women. I have not been around children, my foster mom feels I would be ok with them too. I like affection and I will come to you for pets. I like to be where my people are and I’ll find a spot to lay there. When strangers come to visit, I am a little shy, but they can pet me.
I like other dogs and I like to play with them. When I see dogs outside that I don’t know I bark a little at them. I currently live with a cat. I don’t care too much about toys. I like rope toys or a Benebone occasionally. Car rides are good too. I am learning my basic commands.
I would love a home with a family all my own. It would be nice if there was another friendly pet for me to play with. I would like to be included in activities with you. Do you have any fun adventures that you would like to include a sweet young girl like me?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
