​Hello! My name is Cherry. I’ve had a bit of a rough start. I am now missing my rear leg, and I have had some injuries to my right front leg. I am all healed now and I am getting around very well; you should see me running around. I have no ongoing medications or follow-up care needed. I am house trained and crate trained. I should be crated when you cannot supervise me. I love meeting people and children. I actively seek pets and snuggles. My foster mom says I am a little golden ray of sunshine.
I have met other dogs, and I am very good with them. I love to play and run around with them. I have not met any cats, so I do not know how I feel about them. I have a pretty high prey drive; I love chasing squirrels. I love playing with toys and chew toys. I like going for rides in the car, but you must help me get in and out. I am learning to walk nice on a leash. I am learning commands like sit and down. I am so eager to learn. I like being brushed.
I would like to find a home where I will get a lot of attention and the company of another dog that likes to play. I could be an only dog with regular trips to interact with other dogs and people. I’m a huge snuggler. If you care to indulge in limitless snuggles, please apply!

Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
