Hello! My name is Polly and I am a young, 11 lb spayed female. I am mostly housebroken, although I will have accidents in moments of high arousal which I am working on. My crate-training is a work in progress. I am improving, although I will still vocalize at times while in the crate. Since I am still a puppy, I need to be crated when left home alone for my safety.

I have an exuberant personality and love all people! I have met men, women, and young children while befriending all of them. I am still learning that jumping up on people is not a favorable approach to greeting my new friends. I seek plenty of affection and love cuddling on the couch. I am a Velcro Dog who will follow you around and likes to know where you are when you’re home. I will excitedly welcome visitors to our home!

I love other dogs and would thrive with another high energy, playful dog who is confident and can show me the ropes! I play rough with other dogs so any other dogs in my home should share my wrestling play style. I love toys!! I cannot go to a home with cats.

I ride well in the car and walk fairly well on leash. I have been joining along for my foster brother’s baseball game and am a great companion while there! I have been working on my recall and am doing pretty well! My basic commands are a work in progress as I can easily be overstimulated by the presence of treats, though I am smart and am sure to catch on with consistent training! I am an active, loving, and enthusiastic girl who is ready for the perfect adoptive home—could that be with you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
