Hello! I’m Alastor and I am a 2 year old, 56 lb neutered male. I am already housebroken and crate-trained. I’m still a puppy at heart, so I need to be crated when left home alone. I would prefer a family where someone is home most of the time as I love spending quality time with my family members.

I am a happy-go-lucky social boy who loves everyone: men, women, and young children! I will actively seek affection and love being pet or cuddled by my people. I will happily welcome visitors into our home! While I am excited to meet new people, I am a gentleman and won’t jump up on people to greet them.

I love other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion for me. I cannot go to a home with cats. I love to play and will eagerly play fetch with my toys, and I’ll even share my toys with other dogs! My foster family would love for me to have a fenced yard so I can run and play freely.

I like to go for car rides and would love an active family who can match my high energy levels. I walk well on a leash, although I need to learn I don’t need to bark at all the dogs I see on our walks. I am very eager to please and need a family willing to continue my training. I have already learned how to sit, shake, down, wait, and stay with my foster family! I would make a great agility partner.

I am a happy, loving, active boy looking for my perfect forever family… could that be you?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states east of the Mississippi. Visit our Newcomers to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog is available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
